David grabbed her shoulder and made her move out of the way so that the nurses could wheel William out.
"David!" she shouted at him as he was not telling her anything and was making her worry more.
"Calm down! I will tell you everything. We are taking him to do more tests and then to the VIP wing. Follow me. I will tell you everything on the way," said David.
"Just tell me…" she pleaded, and David saw a tear drop from her eyes. That broke his heart. He had seen her angry, smirking, witty, and he always liked that avatar. Whenever she used to cry, it would break his heart. Without thinking about his workplace or that the tongues would wag, he pulled Journee closer and hugged her tightly.
"He is okay, he is okay, I told you it was a panic attack. It was not a heart attack. He is fine, Jo. He is fine. Don't worry. I am here," he said and tried to console her.
"Then… why?" she stammered. "Tell me he is okay."
