I ran with Pharai in my arms as Hathor led me and Thoth to her healing room. Horus had managed to stabilize Anubis enough and stayed back to make sure he was alright. Every second we wasted Pharai grew paler and his hair grew duller.
His heartbeat felt faint and I tried to feed all the energy I could to him without killing us both. It seemed to be the only thing pulling him through as I would feel him randomly jolt. He spoke in ancient tongues constantly but so terribly faint that even as a god I couldn't hear him.
The golden blood gushing from his abdomen made running difficult as it dripped along the limestone floors. My body was covered in it and I had to pull myself to stop the back flashes. I knew the skies outside had grown dark because of me.
