In the midst of the scattering shockwave, Tingbao and the Hard Bone Fire Monkey charged straight in.
BANG!
Another massive boom rang out. A much fiercer shockwave, wrapped in fire and Thunder, scattered in all directions.
Two figures were blasted out of the explosion's shockwave—one flying upward and the other plummeting downward.
The figure falling downward raised its hand, catching the Bone Stick just as it spun through the air toward it. A split second later, the Bone Stick ignited once more with ferocious fire.
As the Hard Bone Fire Monkey plummeted, its eyes locked onto the sky above. It hurled the Fire Bone with all its might in the direction Tingbao was flying backward.
BANG!
This time, the Bone Stick landed a precise blow. Tingbao couldn't dodge it.
The ensuing shockwave carried flames that obscured its body for a fleeting moment.
Just as the Hard Bone Fire Monkey was about to crash into the ground, it executed a backflip and landed steadily on its feet.
