I was on my way home to finish reading the latest chapter of of my favorite manga, Tensei shitara suraimu datta ken or as I like to call it, tensura.
I was supposed to go home and relax.
I was supposed to do so many things yet here I was laying in a pool of my own blood, knowing that I wasn't going to survive.
How did it come to this you ask, well I walked into an pole, got hit on the nose and head, recoiled backwards, tripped on myself and fell in a pile of trash so perfectly that a broken glass bottle impaled me right through my chest.
To be honest, I didn't mind dying, but by a stupid way like that, seriously, it could've been anything a robbery gone wrong, a fight between two gangs breaking out and me being caught in the crossfire, or just a plain old truck.
I had just one regret though, which was not being able to finish my favorite manga, Tensura.

'Wait, is this what I think it is?' I thought with uncertainty but also a tinge of exitement boiling up inside of me.

Wait I need to calm down and think very carefully about what I want.
Since my world is Tensura I will need a skill that will help me get the most benefits and make me the strongest the fastest. Firstly I will need to get [Wisdom king Raphael] as it is arguably the most useful skill in tensura.

Well that was unexpected, in all the fan-fictions I have read the MC always gets all the Ultimate Skills right off the bat. But then again it makes sense, an Ultimate Skill is the max limit of a skill, given that it is virtually impossible to achieve for most if not all people. Plus it seems that the skill is already being used meaning Rimuru must've already evolved into a demon lord.

I am truly out of words, you know what, whatever, i'll just accept it and move on.
Although I couldn't get [Raphael], [Great Sage] is not bad, and I can probably evolve it to some other Ultimate Skill later in the future.
Now that [Great Sage] has been gained, I will need a skill that will make me completely indestructible and unstoppable. First let us focus on defense, there are resistances and immunities, but those can be bypassed by someone stronger, I could ask for a body that is indestructible, but then there still is a threat of soul attacks.
Hmm, I will need a skill that will truly be able to truly block every type of attack there is.

Wow, sounds like a strong skill, and since it's an Unique Skill I'll be able to evolve it to an Ultimate Skill in the future.

'Looks good, with these skills I should be able to get strong fast... and…. and…' after coming out of my inner monologue I noticed that I was extremely tired and could not move or feel anything at all. 'Oh right, I was dying, I almost forgot about that.'
'Huh, I guess this is it' I thought with some excitement and sadness. Yet there was a small part of me that was scared, what if this was all an actuall hallucination because of my obsession, what if I truly die and not get reincarnated.
Well, there is nothing I can do about it anyways, 'sigh', so I guess I will just let nature take its course.
