Daya shifted into her beast form and carried Mickey on her back as they headed to the tribe.
Once they got inside, Mickey was immediately hit with looks of adoration from the females and killing intent from the males. He was simply too handsome, even though he believes otherwise.
The females had never seen such an handsome man and the only thing that was stopping them from rushing to claim him was Daya. The male was Daya's mate which meant that joining the family would be hard and discouraged the females, all except one, Ashley.
Daya's plan was to drop Mickey off at her mother's house and quickly build her one house, there was no motivation for her to do so before but since she wants to be Mickey's mate she has to step up her game. They soon reached Daya's mum's house and Daya shouted to announce her presence.
"I'm not deaf you know, did you even listen to what I said, why are you here so soon" Daya's mum shouted as she made her way to the door.
"Oh, is he who I think he is" Daya's mum said on seeing Mickey.
"Yeah, he's my mate" Daya said while looking at Mickey with too much emotion for him to be comfortable with, but he was in another world and needed Daya's help to survive so he decided to stay quiet.
"Hmmm, you were lucky" Daya's mum said.
"Yeah" Daya replied.
"So how can I help you, I know you didn't come here to show me your mate" Daya's mum said.
"Hehehe, can I leave Mickey with you while I fix my little house situation" Daya replied.
"Sure" Daya's mum said.
"Thanks" Daya beamed and ran off to build an house, after buying the materials it would take her about ten hours to build giving Mickey and her mum time to bond.

Mickey wasn't quite sure what to make off riding on a bear's back, it should have felt a bit cool but knowing that it was a woman made it all feel strange to him.
While he was pumped about having a system, it annoyed him that he wouldn't be able to go further with Vincent. He should have thought about his family and them being worried but he didn't care because he was certain they wouldn't care about him too.
In the midst of his thoughts Daya stopped moving, they must have gotten to her mum's place. After a conversing with her mum for a while, Daya left leaving Mickey alone with this unknown woman, well not totally unknown since he knows she's Daya's mum.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Dinah" Daya's mum smiled.
"I'm Michelangelo, Mickey for short" He smiled back.
"Tell me, did my daughter kidnap you or something?" Dinah asked.
"No, she actually saved me" Mickey replied.
"Huh, she saved you and you became her mate, a nice bargain, seems like that daughter of mine has some brain cells" Hera said.

Even though she didn't show it, Daya was feeling quite an amount of nervousness. She ought to have had her own house by now, will the male reject her because of this?
Since she wasn't interested in finding a mate she had never put much importance on leaving her mother's house, it didn't seem necessary. But now she was regretting it since the male could form a bad impression if her because of this.
She had to take of this fast and so she was moving at her fastest speed buying all the materials she needed at the market. Just when she bought everything and was going to ask the cheif for land, someone blocked her.
"What do you want?" Daya asked.
"Nothing much, I am going to be your male's mate" Ashley said.
"Not happening" Daya growled.
"Well, I wasn't asking I was informing you" Ashley said and sauntered off.
Daya really wanted to give Ashley a piece of her mind but the house issue was still there and she couldn't waste her time on trash so she rushed to the chief's house.
"Ah Daya, how can I help you" The cheif, Willow smiled.
"Um, I found a mate so I need land to build my house" Daya replied.
"Huh, I thought you wanted to live a mateless life, what changed your mind. Hehehe, he's special right" Willow said earning a blush from Daya.
"Awww, the ever tough Daya is smiling, he must be really special then" Willow said.
"He's different from the others" Daya blushed.
"Hehehe, it's alright. Now, let's get down to business" Willow smiled.
"I have five lands which I'm able to sell right now and I'll be selling the best to you, it's a bit expensive though, it's 200 silver"
"Yeah, I'll take that one" Daya replied.
They finished the procedures in no time and as Daya was about to leave to begin the construction process she was blocked yet again.
"What might you be doing here oh little sister of mine" Maribeth, Daya's sister said.
"I was just leaving so please get out of my way" Daya said with a little frosty attitude.
"Okay then" Maribeth said stepping aside for Daya.
Maribeth was the first in their litter of two and with their mum's constant comparison, their relationship was quite strained much like the relationships between cubs of the same litter in this world.
Luckily for Daya, the land was in optimal condition for construction to begin so she didn't have to do any extra processes and could begin building straight away.

Despite the opening for a bonding session, Dinah and Mickey did nothing of the such, it felt too early. They just sat opposite each other idly until Mickey's stomach grumbled and Dinah gave him some fruits.
"Mum! your darling daughter has arrived" An obnoxious voice was heard.
"Come in, I'm at my usual spot" Dinah shputed at the owner of the voice.
"That's my eldest daughter, Maribeth" Dinah said to Mickey.
"Could this be...?" Maribeth said upon seeing Mickey.
"Yeah, Daya's found herself a mate" Dinah replied proud.
"Wow, I didn't think she could find one and one with no other mates at that, she's lucky" Maribeth said with a hint of jealousy that disappeared as soon as it came as she had a mate.
