In such a state, they could only barely capture the trajectory of the electrons moving past, and were unable to determine which slit the electrons actually passed through, let alone how they passed through both slits.
Yet even with such an extent of effort, only two distinct spots of light were projected on the fluorescent screen behind, indicating that the electrons had behaved obediently as particles and passed through one of the slits.

"Perhaps the range of the field is too large, and the electrons sensed the fluctuations of the magic power, thus choosing to explore!" Sanchez speculated again.
