Ruby Mercer casually told the director she would finish her last scene first. The director admired her calmness, "Ruby Mercer, are you, okay?"
Ruby Mercer looked puzzled, "I'm fine, director, what's wrong?"
The director was startled, thinking Ruby couldn't handle the blow, and the tension was almost unbearable, "Ruby, if you really can't take it, we can delay your scenes. There's no rush. Get yourself sorted first."
Ruby realized then that the director was talking about her issue. She said a bit apologetically, "Director, I'm fine. It's just that this movie has been delayed because of me and has already been impacted so greatly even before its release."
The director immediately waved his hand, "How could that be? The audience may be blind, but I can see clearly. No worries, your acting will convince them."
Ruby mumbled, "If not even my character can convince people, how can my acting convince anyone?"
