"You two should stop now!"
She looked at Lionel, "Tomorrow afternoon I'll take you to the construction site to have a look, I'll send you the design drawings tonight, and there are some contract issues we'll discuss when we meet tomorrow!"
Lionel responded, "Okay!"
Ruby said, "And also..."
Lionel gently asked, "What?"
She dropped her gaze, lowered her head, "Still, I'm sorry!"
Lionel's expression froze, almost instantly understanding what she meant.
"I'll do my best!"
Ruby wanted to say something else, but then Christopher Moore came over, feeling jealous.
"What is taking so long to discuss?"
Ruby walked toward her car, giving him a sidelong glance, "It's none of your business!"
Christopher stopped her, "While your car is being repaired, I'll give you a ride to and from work!"
Ruby, "What? Look down on someone?"
"Can't I, Ruby Mercer, have two cars, can't I have an assistant?"
"At worst, I can still hitch a ride with my dad!"
"What are you anyway?"
