Feng Yuan didn't have Xiao Ji carry him in flight all the time, not because it was uncomfortable—Xiao Ji's back is wide enough now that even with an extra person, it wouldn't feel crowded.
But Feng Yuan decided not to take up too much of Xiao Ji's time, considering it needs to adapt to its new form.
Moreover, Feng Yuan plans to let Xiao Ji and Ah Mu compete in a match, not to see who wins or loses, but because battling is coincidentally the fastest and most effective way to adapt to new powers.
Feng Yuan wants to understand one thing, and that is the purpose of those two Netherworld Crows that Xiao Ji naturally carries.
He doesn't believe they are just decorative; after all, when it comes to Divine Beasts, it's unlikely they'd carry anything useless. Actually, even Ordinary Spirit Beasts rarely have useless attachments.
"The Transformation Skill is still quite difficult for it."
