In the video, Peter had managed to subdue Doctor Octopus, rescue the assistant dean, and even secure another chance at MIT.
But just as things started looking up—
Another enemy appeared.
This one rode a bizarre glider, clad head to toe in gleaming green armor, and let out a high-pitched, maniacal laugh.
The moment he saw Peter, he hurled a pumpkin bomb straight at him.
"Green Goblin! He's here too!"
—
Outside the screen, Stephen's eyes widened. "Okay, so this is turning into an all-out villain mashup. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if the other two Spider-Men showed up."
Pietro smirked. "Three Spider-Men in one place? Now that would be interesting. I mean, I've seen crazier things, but in a world without a multiversal quiz game messing with reality? That would be shocking."
Stephen shot him a glare. "This isn't a good thing. It means something is very wrong with our world. The multiverse is dangerous. Different realities colliding? That's a disaster waiting to happen."
Pietro shrugged. "Eh, I don't know. We've already seen visitors from other dimensions come and go. If this was that catastrophic, it would've blown up in our faces by now."
After all, the Marvel world had been interacting with other dimensions for some time due to the quiz game. If multiversal travel was that unstable, things would've gone south a lot sooner.
Stephen sighed. This wasn't reassuring.
—
Back in the video, Peter didn't get the chance to fight the Green Goblin.
Before the battle could start, a golden portal suddenly opened, pulling Peter and Doctor Octopus inside.
The one who opened it?
Stephen.
He had transported them back to the Sanctum, specifically to its underground chambers.
This time, however, the Sanctum looked different.
There were several holding cells now, each designed to contain powerful beings.
Doctor Octopus was locked inside one of them—
And in the cell right next to him…
Was the Lizard.
Given that Doctor Octopus and Green Goblin had already appeared, seeing another classic Spider-Man villain wasn't exactly surprising.
Peter looked embarrassed.
And, honestly, so did Stephen.
While Peter had been fighting Doc Ock, Stephen had been busy—dealing with his own unwanted guest, Lizard.
Let's just say… an elegant sorcerer versus a rampaging reptilian brute wasn't exactly a dignified battle.
Now, standing in front of Peter, Stephen explained what had really happened.
This was all Peter's fault.
Because he had altered the Runes of Kafka multiple times, the spell had malfunctioned—ripping holes in reality and dragging people from other universes into their world.
Stephen was pissed.
What was supposed to be a simple spell had spiraled into a multiversal crisis.
Worse?
Wong had warned him about this. And Stephen had brushed it off.
As if losing his title as Sorcerer Supreme wasn't humiliating enough.
Now, he had to clean up this mess.
His plan?
Peter needed to capture all of the intruders—starting with the Green Goblin.
Once they were all secured, Stephen would send them back to where they came from.
Peter, however, looked conflicted.
"Uh… okay, but… I just got a second chance to get into MIT. If the school sees me fighting a bunch of supervillains again…"
—
Outside the screen, viewers groaned.
"Seriously, dude? The multiverse is falling apart, and you're still worried about college?!"
Sure, Peter wanting a normal life was understandable.
But at this point?
He was the one who caused this.
He needed to own up to it.
Even the audience members who had been sympathetic earlier were shaking their heads.
Compared to the other two Spider-Men, this Peter's lack of responsibility was glaringly obvious.
—
In the video, Stephen wasn't giving Peter a choice.
With a flick of his hand, he enchanted Peter's wristband, upgrading it to help him capture the other villains.
Then, before Peter could protest, Stephen turned to leave.
—
Peter finally snapped out of it.
"Sir, I know this is my fault. I swear I'll fix it. But I'm going to need some help."
He called in reinforcements—MJ and Ned.
Even if they couldn't fight, they could at least help with research and support.
MJ, however, wasn't happy.
Seeing how Stephen had treated Peter, she immediately got defensive, calling him out for being rude.
Surprisingly?
Her blunt attitude left a good impression on some of the viewers.
—
From there, the trio got to work.
Using modern technology and online resources, they started tracking down the displaced villains.
After some effort, they finally found a lead.
Peter suited up in a new black-and-gold suit and headed out.
And honestly?
The new look was great.
Sleek, stylish, and different from his usual red-and-blue design, it gave him a fresh edge.
The only downside?
He had a phone taped to his chest.
Which definitely ruined the cool factor a little.
—
Peter's main target was Green Goblin.
But somehow—he ended up in a completely different place.
An area filled with high-voltage electrical towers.
And that's where he ran into—
Electro.
And shortly after—
Sandman.
—
Outside the screen, another version of Peter(Garfield)—perked up.
Eyes fixed on the footage, he muttered, "Huh. Now this is interesting. That's my Electro."
Beside him, Gwen smirked. "Shouldn't you be worried about your villain showing up in another universe?"
He grinned. "Nah. He can handle it. He is Spider-Man, after all."
Though, deep down, he was slightly amused—
This Peter reminded him a lot of himself when he was younger.
A little naive.
A little reckless.
And, sometimes, a little too trusting.
Still, watching him stumble through all this chaos was kind of… endearing.
Gwen chuckled at his expression, playfully pinching his nose. "You're so full of yourself."
He just shot her a cocky smile. "Shhh. Watch the video."
—
On screen, Peter engaged in battle with Electro.
But because they were in an electrified zone, Electro had the home-field advantage.
He hovered in midair, effortlessly launching blinding bolts of lightning in all directions.
Each strike that hit the ground erupted into explosions of sparks.
Peter barely managed to dodge, scrambling to stay alive.
Luckily?
Sandman stepped in.
Turning himself into a massive sand dune, he absorbed the lightning, shielding Peter.
Then, he whipped up a sandstorm—momentarily trapping Electro.
For now, at least…
Peter had a fighting chance.
