||Izumi's POV||
"It's just as beautiful as I remember," I muttered, staring at the endless blue sky outside the window.
"What's beautiful?"
I turned my head and found Momo looking at me with a raised brow.
"The sky, Momo. It's beautiful. I feel calm when I look at it."
"You should be paying attention to the teacher instead of daydreaming, Izumi."
"Yes, sorry."
I gave her a small smile and turned back toward the front.
The teacher was explaining something in English, but my attention drifted again. My gaze stayed on board, though my mind was elsewhere.
'Momo Yaoyorozu and I go the same elementary school. I should've expected it, bot our familed are rich.
Shoto Todoroki should be here too… but he's probably at home, going through hell.
Tenya Iida, on the other hand, isn't here at all. Maybe he's in another school.'
"I want to go home," I muttered quietly, glancing up at the clock.
Ten minutes left.
'Maybe I'll ask Dad to teach me the basics of some new abilities later.'
Time slipped by, and the bell finally rang.
I waved goodbye to a few classmates and walked toward the school gate, my steps light.
A familiar black car waited outside. The bulky man in a black suit standing beside it straightened the moment he saw me.
He opened the door and greeted me with a respectful bow.
"How was school today, young master?"
"Same as always, Uncle Kaito. Please take me home. I haven't annoyed Ayaka for the entire day."
He smiled faintly. "Yes, young master."
The car ride took about fifteen minutes. When we arrived, I thanked him and stepped out, heading toward the front door.
But the moment I entered, I notice something was… wrong.
Only one maid stood in the hallway, and the house was too quiet. Normally, there would be several maids bustling around, and Ayaka would be at the door, waiting to jump me.
"Where is everyone? And where's the littles troublemaker?" I asked.
The maid flinched slightly before replying in a low, uneasy voice.
"The lady is waiting for you in her room, young master. She instructed us to take you to her when you arrived."
A strange heaviness filled my chest.
"I understand."
I made my way toward my mother's room. The moment I turned the corner, I saw several maids lined up along the hallway. Their faces were pale. The air itself felt heavy, suffocating.
My heartbeat quickened. I walked faster until I reached the door and knocked three times.
"Mother, it's me. Izumi."
"Come in, Izumi," came her soft, strained voice.
I opened the door, only to freeze in place.
Father lay in bed, pale and unmoving, connected to a ventilator and several machines. My mother sat beside him, her expression distant and weary. Ayaka was asleep on her lap, her small chest rising and falling in uneven rhythm.
My thoughts went blank.
Then, a surge of emotion hit me all at once.
I forced myself to stay calm and stepped closer. "Mom… what happened?"
That was all I managed to say before my anger started to boil.
My father's upper body was wrapped in bandages. And his entire arm was gone.
My mother looked at me with tired, red-rimmed eyes. Her voice trembled slightly as she spoke.
"Izumi, your father fought an incredibly powerful villain. He used his lightning bolt… his last resort. He lost his right arm in the process."
Her words made my stomach twist. Blue sparks flickered across my skin; faint, unstable, trembling like my heartbeat.
Then my mother slowly lifted Ayaka from her lap and laid her gently on the nearby couch. She stood, walked toward me, and knelt on one knee so her eyes met mine.
She placed her hand on my head, her touch trembling yet soft.
"It's going to be alright, Izumi. Your father will wake up soon. Everything will be alright. Your mother is right here with you."
She smiled. But it was the kind of smile people make when they're trying to convince themselves.
The anger within me swelled, but the lightning around me faded away. I took a step forward and wrapped my arms around her.
She stiffened for a moment, then exhaled shakily and hugged me back.
Her body trembled as she tried to hold back her sobs.
I gently patted her back, whispering under my breath, "It's alright, Mom… I'm here."

||A few hours later||
I looked at my mother and sister, both deep in sleep.
Then, my eyes shifted toward my father.
For a few silent moments, I simply stood there, watching him breathe.
After glancing back at my mother and sister, I quietly walked out of the room.
"Let Mother rest for a few hours. Head maid, please take care of everything in the house and postpone all non-important matters. If there's something urgent, consult me first before making a decision."
"Yes, young master Izumi," the head maid replied softly.
I nodded and made my way to my room.
Once inside, I closed the door behind me and exhaled deeply.
Lightning began to flicker around my body. My hair rose slightly as faint blue arcs flowed through the air.
The lightning around me grew denser, pulsing and humming though the room. Minutes passed before it finally subsided. The light faded, and the silence returned.
I let out another sigh.
I had already learned what had happened to my father.
He had been tracking a strange creature, something unnatural. But while following its trail, he ran into him.
All For One
My father fought with everything he had, but in the end… his quirk was stolen.
He was the reason All Might had been able to locate AFO. Their battle must have ended around now, with both severely injured.
'I get it now,' I thought.
'This is partly why my parents never appeared in MHA. Their story ended before it could even begin.'
This period would've been the perfect chance to destroy AFO's followers, while he was still recovering, but I am too weak.
Completely powerless to do anything.
Still, my mind began to move.
'I'll have to change my plans. At least Father survived. And I already have measures in place to protect Mother.'
I clenched my fists.
"Right now, I need to take care of my family, and grow stronger." I whispered to myself.
"Those two things come first. I just need to be patient. I have five years… and a long list of tasks to complete."

A month later, Father Finally regained consciousness.
All Might visited us soon after. He spoke with my parents for a long time behind closed doors.
I wasn't part of that conversation, so I didn't know what was discussed.
Before leaving, he crouched down to our level and smiled at me and Ayaka.
He told us to chase our dreams, to become heroes loke our parents.
It took a few months, but things slowly returned to normal.
Father retired from hero work, focusing instead on managing the Adachi family's companies.
Mother also scaled back her hero activities to work alongside him.
Ayaka and I continued training under them.
They helped us replicate parts of their abilities and even guided us in developing a few new ones of our own.
Time passed.
And we kept getting stronger.

||Five years later||
In an enormous training hall, a middle-aged man with silver hair stood to the side, watching the centre of the room.
A tall, silver-haired young man stood in the middle with his eyes closed.
The man at the side spoke. "Izumi, as we've been practicing, let the lightning flow through your body evenly and cover yourself with it. You control the lightning; it doesn't control you. Keep your speed and strength in check."
As soon as he finished, blue lightning began to dance chaotically around Izumi. In the next second, Izumi vanished from the centre of the hall. Lightning zipped across the room in a patterned blur as the sound of thunder rolled through the space.
Jin watched the display for a few minutes. When he looked satisfied, he said, "Remove the sound."
As if obeying his command, the thunder stopped immediately.
"Zip into the air and throw a lightning bolt."
The lightning flickered in the air and, in a split second, condensed. Izumi's form appeared suspended above the floor, a blue lightning bolt condensed in his right hand. He hurled it toward the centre of the hall.
BOOM!
Thunder cracked as the bolt broke the sound barrier and slammed into the centre of the hall. A bright flash and a massive explosion carved a crater into the floor.
Jin stared at the blast and the crater it left, then turned to his right. Izumi stood beside him, face calm as ever.
"After training you for all these years, I can say this; anybody who looks at you will stop using the word 'genius'. They'll use only one word, 'monster'." Jin said with a smile.
"I'll take that as a compliment, Father," Izumi replied.
"It is a compliment. I have nothing more to teach you. From this point, it's all on you. Either you keep growing or you stall and stay like this forever. But remember, son: never get arrogant or complacent. Be kind to people, especially those less fortunate than you."
"Yes, Father."
"All right, let's go eat. If we're late, your mother will probably be waiting at the table with a sword. I also want to see Ayaka's face when she hears you finished training."
"I'm sure her cheeks will puff up like a balloon, and she'll nag Mother."
"HA! HA! HA!"
The father-and-son duo walked out of the training hall.
