Rosie Scott and Sylvia Anderson returned to Anderson Castle just in time for dinner.
Ryan Anderson and Felix Scott had been waiting in the dining room for half an hour. Seeing Rosie's car enter the front yard, they immediately stood up.
"My granddaughter must be starving, come quickly, Grandpa made steamed eggs for you." Ryan Anderson had changed a lot since having a granddaughter.
He used to be a stern man in a suit with sharp words, now he was a grandfather with a kind face.
Rosie got out of the car with a gentle smile, her gaze falling on her father Felix Scott's envious look at the little one in Ryan's arms.
The woman glanced down at her barely noticeable belly, suddenly thinking having another child wouldn't be so bad.
Seeing these two grandfathers always competing to hold Sylvia, with one left out each time, Rosie walked closer and took her father's arm: "Has Charles returned?"
