Margaret arrived at Angel villa , after stopping by a popular flower shop to pick white roses for her. Elaine was surprised to see Margaret cos she expected her to be on vacation in Switzerland .
Walking into the quiet house Margaret couldn't help but wonder what it would feel like to see kids walking down those stairs to welcome her and calling her "grandmother". sighing in disappointment she saw Elaine in the kitchen perhaps trying to make lunch for Angel.
"Welcome ma" I didn't expect to see you , Elaine said with a look of surprise. Wondering if the young miss knew her mother was coming.
". I planned to surprise Angel, I presume you are making lunch for Angel right "? , " Speaking of Angel, where's she ?
". yes, I am fixing lunch for her , and young miss went out sometime ago with Jason she said she will be back for lunch".
". oh is that right? ``It's fine, let me make lunch for today " Margaret said while shoving her bag and the flowers to Elaine. She took the apron from her and waved her away.
Mardy,being bored, walked out of her room to look for fun or perhaps look around the house since she didn't have the chance yesterday night . When the aroma of food hit her nose hard, being a lover of food guessed what the cook was cooking , followed the appetizing scent of food and arrived at the kitchen . But she didn't see the lady Angel referred to as " Elaine " that brought food for her last night. Rather she saw the silhouette of a woman dressed in a rich woman's attire with her hair packed neatly up to avoid a strand falling into the food she's making.
Mardy began wallowing in thought who the woman might be , because everything about the woman speaks authority despite seeing her back only she came up with that conclusion.
Having the feeling that someone might be watching her turned round to see a beautiful petite young figure staring at her in awe.
Seeing the woman turn to meet her gaze , Isabel's words caught in her throat , she blinked like thrice before coming back to her senses because the woman in her front was very beautiful and the apron she wore made her look like a chef , but she can tell she's more than that.
Standing in front of the young lady still in daze, she stretched out her hand revealing a cookie in it .
Mardy who was still in a daze saw the woman approached her with smiles and presented a cookie to her , her eyes shone with delight upon seeing the cookie .
". This is my one of my homemade delicacy I hope you like it "
Taking the cookie from her putting it in her mouth the crunchy cookie melted in her mouth and she savored it with her eyes closed.
". The taste is heavenly I must say " Mardy said beaming with smiles and rating her skills., " Do you own a restaurant "?, she asked with hopes of visiting it and tasting her other delicacies.
Seeing her enjoying her cookie Margaret invited her to sit in the kitchen and taste her other foods. She loves it when people compliment her cooking.
Sitting down opposite Mardy , Margaret introduced herself " Am Margaret Smith , am Angel's mother", she said still looking at Mardy
_. " Holly, Molly , you're Angel's mother,?", she asked, still not believing her ears, for Margaret to nod in reply.
". My name is Mardy and I am Angel's friend ", though we only met yesterday, she said the latter to herself. Margaret 's eyes widened in surprise.
