Following the Black Peng, twisting and turning, they arrived in front of a white steel building. Outside stood a group of black-robed figures, similar to the ones Ye Chen had first seen following Kong Xi.
The Black Peng greeted everyone with a cupped fist salute.
Looking at the imposing building, Ye Chen suddenly felt that Kong Xi wasn't lying when he said he was under supervision. These people really seemed to be overseeing Kong Xi.
Inside, the environment was completely different from the outside, lush green trees and brightly colored flowers, as if it were a garden.
Inside a house, Kong Xi was lying on a high-tech chair.
The room was filled with high-tech equipment. If one didn't know, they might think they'd entered a science museum.
"Lord Kong Xi, Mr. Ye Chen is here."
Black Peng came before Kong Xi and said respectfully.
Kong Xi looked up at Ye Chen, waved to Black Peng, signaling him to leave.
Black Peng retreated to the door and closed it.
