With a thud, Ava Kent fell right between the sofa and the table, letting out a yelp of pain, and complained, "Even if you don't want to, don't hit me. Do you even understand the concept of being gentle with a lady?"
Gentle with a lady? He was already being kind by not smashing a wine bottle over her head.
Baron Roan felt entirely uncomfortable, as if thousands of ants were crawling all over his body. He forced himself to endure the discomfort and shouted, "Get out!"
"Alright, I'm leaving right away."
Ava Kent got up and started running out, then hurried back at the door, "Are you going to release that fool from the Tanner Estate or not? If you do, please don't tell him what I just said, or else we really might break up."
"Get out!!"
A wine bottle was thrown over; Ava quickly dodged and watched it shatter into pieces against the wall, fragments flying everywhere.
She stuck her tongue out, rolled her eyes, and left, opening the door.
