"Hmm? Why can't you say it now?"
Ava Kent pouted unhappily. It piqued her curiosity, yet he wouldn't tell her. How infuriating.
"We're here. Go inside and take a hot shower, don't catch a cold."
Julius Goodman chuckled softly, parked the car, and took out the umbrella he had left in the car.
It was only then that Ava realized they were home. She felt a bit miffed, thinking it was bad timing.
She slowly removed her helmet, undid her raincoat and got out of the car. Julius held the umbrella for her, trying his best to shield her from the pouring rain.
But with the strong wind and heavy rain, she was still somewhat wet, so Julius urged her to hurry in and shower.
Ava clung to the hand holding the umbrella, looking at him pitifully, "Tell me, or I won't be able to sleep tonight."
"Don't lean on me, you're all wet."
Seeing her leaning on his raincoat, Julius spoke helplessly, "Be good, go inside quickly."
"No, I want you to stay with me."
