Oliver was panicked thinking Daniel would end up causing trouble.

That was Anderson. He saw that Daniel was angry at that moment. And also Oliver who was grabbing his hand with a pitiful look and Ava who was enjoying the scene.
"A-Anderson! Please help me."
The man in Daniel's grip struggled. But he couldn't free himself.
"Nicky? What are you-? you-"
Anderson stopped talking halfway because he already guessed the scene happened there.
"Daniel, I am sorry if he has offended you and Oliver. He is my cousin actually. Can you let him go and forgive him just this time for whatever he did? I will take care of him myself, I promise."
When Anderson asked personally to let that guy go, Daniel couldn't ignore his words, honestly. But he, in the end let go of that guy only because he felt Oliver pinching him and encouraging him to let go.
