The two closed the courtyard gate and walked toward Lu Shouyue's car. Both had their own thoughts, remaining silent without idle chat along the way.
Upon entering Lu Shouyue's building floor, Lin Wanwan noticed that the layout here had changed.
Previously, it was a one-apartment-per-floor design, with the shared hallway separated by hollow wooden screens.
But now, the partitions in the hallway had been dismantled. After the two bodyguards of Lu Shouyue said goodbye, they entered the unit across the door.
As Lu Shouyue unlocked the door with his fingerprint, Lin Wanwan casually asked, "Mr. Lu, did you buy the west suite too?"
Lu Shouyue replied, "I bought the entire floor initially, but hadn't opened it up, so it remained empty."
