Arthur stepped inside and stopped. His eyes took in the space with approval.
The Cultivation Time Chamber was a vast circular room with walls made of crystallized time itself.
The walls shimmered and flowed like liquid mercury, reflecting not just Arthur's current image but shadows of his past and glimpses of potential futures.
In the center was a simple platform made of an unknown material that seemed to absorb all light that touched it.
"One hundred days inside for every day outside," Arthur said quietly. He walked toward the central platform. "That gives me an incredible amount of time to work with."
