"A favor?" Eddie asked just to be sure he heard correctly.
"Yes" Stewie confirmed. Eddie looked back at his sister who only shrugged. Stewie Grant was becoming more and more unpredictable by the second. Eddie had never expected that someone like Stewie would ask another person for a favor, especially not him. What on earth did he want anyways?
"What favor?" Stewie didn't reply immediately, he closed his eyes and tightened his fists in an odd manner, as if he was trying to suppress something inside of him. Eddie and Jade could already tell it was the embarrassment of asking another person for something. People like Stewie always took whatever they wanted, there was no need to ask anybody for anything. Doing this must be especially hard for him.
"It's kind of a family matter," Stewie started. He was nervous, and was perspiring regardless of the cool weather. "I need your help to kill someone" The nervous bully finally revealed.
"Do what?" Eddie questioned the instant Stewie completed his sentence.
There was no way he was getting involved in any sort of killing. Not only did he not want to get involved in vampire affairs, but he couldn't kill someone either. He was sorry, but there was no way he could help Stewie with his request.
"I know it's a bit bizarre, but I really need your help" Stewie sounded as if he was begging, and seeing sound the way he did was even more disturbing than his request.
"There's no way I'm helping you kill someone." Eddie declined "If it's a family matter, don't you think you should be talking to members of your faction instead?" He suggested.
"They're not strong enough to help me, but you are." Stewie admitted. He was already trembling, and his eyes were already beginning to get wet.
Eddie already knew their conversation was going to involve his strength, but he was still going to decline. Stewie might have seen him transform partially, but he was willing to risk exposure rather than get involved with vampire affairs. Rumors could be stopped, and would always die out, but vampires never left their prey until they were sure it was dead. Eddie wasn't prepared to live a life of tension where he'd have to constantly watch his back.
"What's your situation anyways?" Jade inquired. She'd been standing aside listening to the two boys discuss. She would have rejected Stewie's favor if she was in Eddie's condition, but she thought it would be fair to hear the vampire out before refusing him help completely.
The two turned towards the girl who'd just spoken. They had almost forgotten she was still around. Stewie had neglected presence of another powerful figure that he should probably be asking for help too. She might not look it, but he had felt her power first hand, and he knew better than the others that this witch was powerful. Perhaps even stronger than her brother here.
"We're being hunted. My family they're being murdered everyday. We've tried fighting back, but the other family's strength is not something we can handle. I don't want to kill all of them, just the head of the family. If I can do that then I'm sure this will all end" Stewie explained.
Jade already knew that when Stewie says family he was referring to his own gang of vampires. That was how families worked in the vampire world. The gang mostly consisted of those who the leader had turned, and those who had been turned by the pioneer set. It wasn't a new thing that vampire gangs often clashed with each other, so neither of the siblings were especially moved by the bully's story. The only thing they wanted to know at the moment was what caused the ongoing conflict, and who was at fault here.
"So what's the conflict about? Whose side should we be on?" Jade asked.
Stewie was a bit stunned by her question about what side they should pick, but he did his best to provide an answer immediately. "Mine" He answered sharply, before proceeding to provide the reason for the conflict. "Ten sunlight rings were stolen from my men, and they've confirmed the Cellar family to be their attackers. We just want our rings back, but they're not willing to comply without violence"
It sounded weird that someone like Stewie Grant would preach against violence, when he was the embodiment of highschool terrorism. His story sounded believable, but it wasn't something witches or wolves were supposed to interfer with. Vampires never liked intrusion from other factions, interfering in their personal affairs meant asking for trouble.
Jade glanced over at Eddie who asked her of their next decision through his eyes. She confirmed she was onboard with his declination with a nod of her head, before proceeding to give Stewie her own answer. "I think you should ask other vampires for help rather than us. We don't really want to get caught up in your family affairs" Jade provided, before gesturing to Eddie that it was time to leave.
"So you're not going to help me?" Stewie asked for clarification. The siblings hadn't really given him a direct answer, all they've been stating were reasons why they couldn't help. He wanted to know what their intentions were even though it was blatantly obvious by now.
"I'm sorry but we can't help you" Eddie answered with a disappointed expression on his face. He patted the bigger figure before walking past him.
"Than you won't mind if I tell everybody that you're a wolf"
