I tilted my head at him and acted confused, "Why do you even assume I care about them? I literally only just met them not even an hour ago."
That was a bluff of course. It's not like I really do care about them but I would like to avoid getting them killed if I could help it.
But if they do end up dead anyway… Well… I wouldn't really lose sleep over it either to be honest.
It's not like I became friends with them over the course of the last few minutes so sorry in advance if I end up causing them to die.
The two men obviously didn't expect such an answer from me since they looked like they hesitated and looked at each other.
I took advantage of that and kicked off the ground, dashing towards the guy that was holding the red haired woman first.
