Carrey looked at the illegal slavers that were being led away by the knights.
"Umm… What's going to happen to them… Mistress?"
I tilted my head at her, "Hmm? I dunno? What usually happens to illegal slavers?"
Katsuki appeared beside me, "For this city in particular, they are usually executed, Mistress."
I turned to her, "In this city in particular? Does that mean it's different for other places?"
She nodded, "Since this place is known as the slave capital of the Kingdom, the laws around slavery are much harsher which also includes illegal slavery as well. In other cities, the illegal slavers might just be punished by being made into slaves themselves for a length of time, where the time is dependent on how involved they are in the operation. Some might even be made slaves for life if they have been particularly notorious."
