They heard about the formations of Buddhist Law; many have seen them, though the live experience was far more splendid than watching through videos, igniting inspirations in their understanding!
They also knew that the noble clans practicing Buddhist Law were different from those who solely studied Buddhism!
What was different?
Perhaps it was that, though the family studied Buddhist Law, they still had descendants to inherit their tradition.
The monks in their temple, in some aspects, were certainly not as free-spirited as those noble clans, such as abstaining from meat and alcohol!
Nor could they entertain thoughts of romantic connections, unless they were secular disciples!
The monk, upon a slight detour from the planned route with his fellow disciples, was taken by a woman to become her husband.
