Another prolonged, piercing shriek echoed. Even with Li Zheng's Bronze++ physique, he felt a wave of dizziness and his limbs heavy.
"This is its counterattack!"
Li Zheng's heart tightened, and he immediately realized it, gripping his weapon even tighter.
[It's coming!

Li Zheng squinted slightly, shook his hands, and stowed the Daiyu Spear, taking the Salted Fish Spear in hand.
"The Daiyu Spear belongs to the sniper category; though it doesn't require a bolt action like in FPS games, there's a short cooldown between shots."
Calmly raising his gun, Li Zheng put his finger on the belly fin, "But with the Salted Fish Spear, it's different. This gun is like an M4, capable of burst fire, and is much more effective at close range than the Daiyu Spear."
Holding his breath and concentrating, Li Zheng peered through the dense fog, vaguely making out a figure two heads taller than himself, looming closer into clarity.
