For weeks, Caesar, the White Werewolf from Neveah, and Lyanna, the Lycan, had scoured half of Desper in search of the young werewolf and future Shadow King, Dezhong Prince.
Lyanna didn't know exactly why Caesar wanted to find Dezhong so badly, but regardless, she tagged along to help him.
Caesar, on the other hand, started to grow restless, thinking that the young werewolf would never appear in Desper again.
At long last, Caesar and Lyanna crossed paths with Dezhong, who came masquerading as the wannabe vigilante known as Bear Claws.
Finally, Caesar's search came to an end. Now he could move on to the next important part of business: getting Bear Claws to safety.
Why did he want to get Bear Claws to safety?
Because Dezhong wasn't the only werewolf that existed in the Overworld. The young werewolf was new to the whole werewolf thing, and he didn't know about the dangers that came with it.
