In one of the apartment blocks, residing in one of the many buildings, stood three people: one older female and two younger males.
The older female, a mother, stood watch as her son confronted his "friend" who had been staying in his home for God knows how long.
Luke Blaise, the young teen who was rescued from Fort Horizon, stood at his bedroom door and stared down his "friend", Blake Klim. To say that Luke was angry would be an understatement. Not even he knew how he felt, but what he wanted to know was what Blake was doing in his house, in his room, and alone with his mother.
"Mom," he spoke, being careful not to take his eyes off Blake, "where's dad? And what's Blake doing in my room?"
The woman looked confused, wondering why her son wasn't excited to see his childhood friend. As she was about to answer, though, Blake calmly walked out of the room, pushed past Luke while also keeping his eyes on him, and planned to leave.
