Chapter 5 - Chapter 5 Survival was all that mattered

Lora looked at the man that was eating gracefully and felt her own glistening oil stained lips along with a few rice grains that had slipped to the corner of her mouth.

She couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed but in all, she couldn't care less.

Survival was all that mattered to her just as how Lora was observing the man.

The man was also observing her the way she held her chopsticks were odd.

It seemed as though she was not fully accustomed to it.

Even though it was odd she managed to make it look pleasant and laid back.

'She seems like a foreigner' the thought couldn't help but occur as he looked at her a bit more carefully.

Her hair was tied back with a black band as naughty little strands of hair hung on her temple.

Even though her face was dirty, it didn't hide her beauty.

Her eyes were a brilliant brown colour almost see-through like glass as they were exceptionally bright.

He looked down, his eyes narrowed as he looked at her messy lips.

He frowned slightly but continued eating his meal in displeasure he was slightly uncomfortable, bothered by the rice grains.

They had quickly finished breakfast as all that was left were messy plates and dishes.

She was disturbed as she felt lazy after her meal.

She picked up the dirty dishes and helplessly moved forward to wash them.

Even though she hated the idea of washing dishes, she reluctantly carried half of what was on the table and put them in the sink. The man followed behind her quietly holding the rest of the dishes.

He helped her move them inside but just as he was about to leave after 'simply' putting them into the sink.

She suddenly said "I'll wash them.....Oh yes.....Yes." She quickly followed afterwards.

"But you're rinsing and drying them." He turned slowly and looked at her, stunned but..... She used that time to give him a clean towel.

He slightly pursed his lips out of habit as she knew the plan had worked.

They both headed to the sink, one happy that their plan worked.

While the other discontented as they did their respective job of cleaning and rinsing off the dishes.

. . . . .

Lora took up the left over trash from lunch, while the man headed out of the kitchen.

She finally wiped the table and washed her hands.

Flinging the water off her wet hands, Lora walked into a room and glanced at the man.

She walked towards the bed and stared at his closed eyes Earlier before, they had walked around the mansion-like Villa.....
