The little girl lay on the man's shoulder, and within five minutes of being comforted, her crying gradually stopped.
Ose Owen looked down at her, and Raleigh tilted her head, staring at him with her big tear-filled eyes. Since they had met before, the little girl recognized him. Finally seeing a familiar face, and with the man being so gentle, she blinked and stared at him, exhausted with a sniffle.
The little girl's face was streaked with tears, her cheeks and nose red and rosy. Her beautiful face was delicate and adorable, softening Ose Owen's heart, and he smiled at her with a slight curve of his lips.
"Raleigh, how about we take a bath?" He noticed the child's collar was stained with tears, gently wiping them from her face as he softly asked.
The little girl stared at him without speaking, her big watery eyes blinking obediently.
Ose Owen carried her upstairs while instructing Nathan Johnson behind him, "Nathan, find two people to come up and help..."
