Upon hearing Lucas Hades say this, Ose Owen nearly held his breath, waiting for King of Hades to speak.
"I'm not sure, but..." King of Hades looked at the two of them, "but with Katie Hades' personality, if she were simply injured, she wouldn't just not appear, unless..."
He paused, the chill around him intensified, "...unless her freedom is currently restricted, and she can't escape!"
Ose Owen and Lucas Hades' faces darkened. They had already considered this possibility, but were deceiving themselves, unwilling to believe it. King of Hades' words clearly shattered the last sliver of hope in their hearts.
Ose Owen's face remained composed. He lowered his head, pressing his hands against his temples, falling into silence, while Lucas Hades said nothing, his brows tightly furrowed.
