Aditya crouched slightly in front of his father. "Father, get on my back." His tone was so gentle and warm that Rin and Elara felt as if Aditya was talking to his own child. His eyes were filled with love towards his father. There wasn't any hate towards his father.
Alen obediently followed his son's instruction without displaying any emotion. He placed his arms around Aditya's shoulders while Aditya secured his legs, carrying his father on his back in a piggyback position.
Seeing this, Elara immediately volunteered to carry Elena in the same manner, but Rin stepped forward before she could. "I'll carry Aunt Elena."
Elara looked toward Rin before Aditya spoke. "You will be primarily responsible for protecting us."
