The story is a simple one.
Lang Tai was an assassin.
And so was Wu Ci.
Except, one was for money, and for a mission, the other was for the sheer fun of it.
Of course, Wu Ci only targeted those with heinous crimes, otherwise, Jiang Shu wouldn't have chosen him to join the Deception Group.
Jiang Shu isn't Clo; he can't yet treat this world as a complete game, viewing all living people as simple NPC data.
During a certain assassination mission, Lang Tai inexplicably encountered Wu Ci, and at the time, their target was the same person.
The result was even simpler: Wu Ci was knocked out by Lang Tai and left there as a scapegoat, and it took him a great deal of effort to clear his name.
What infuriated Wu Ci the most wasn't the incident itself, but the fact that Lang Tai had driven his car.
As a male youth who hadn't found a girlfriend for over twenty years, that car was Wu Ci's woman, and then Lang Tai NTR'd him.
