Forced into a corner, the players began to kill.
To become a player, one must have at least a few props, plus the players had a physical advantage. They quickly tore a hole through the encirclement, and those young, vigorous attackers who surged up were momentarily stunned. Facing a ring of corpses piled up, they hesitated and retreated.
But this didn't mean they would give up the opportunity before them. While they couldn't deal with the players right now, the players' families were ordinary people.
During the attack, some of the players' families had already been pushed far away. Initially safe, they became the best hostages when the crowd changed targets. Some even engaged in a scramble to seize control, with adults managing to hold on, but a few children were yanked about, crying loudly.
