As Lin Fan approached, Qin Ling couldn't help but retreat continuously until he reached the corner of the wall, with nowhere else to go.
"I'm taking you to see Officer Huang. If Officer Huang decides you can live, then you can live. It's all up to you, so don't be afraid; Officer Huang is not a bad person."
Lin Fan tried to reassure them, even though he knew it was futile, he still had to say it.
Not a bad person?
In Qin Ling's eyes, Officer Huang was like a living Hades. If he and Professor Jin fell into his hands, it would be impossible to stay alive.

Realizing there was no retreat, Qin Ling knew that to survive, he had to take action and maybe still have a slim chance of life.
Alas, his fists seemed so feeble in Lin Fan's eyes. Without a second thought, Lin Fan hoisted Qin Ling's hefty body onto his shoulder.
The sight left Professor Jin stunned and speechless, exclaiming in terror as if seeing a ghost.
