The black-clad man's actions left Yun Ran momentarily stunned. She weighed the heavy stack of silver notes in her hand and quickly chased after him.

Earlier during their encounter, she had smelled the strong scent of herbs from him, at one point suspecting his cloak had been soaked in medicinal decoction.
