Since leaving the Imperial City, Ye Ying began to wander the great mountains and rivers of the world, trying to visit every place on the map to soothe his heart that loves in vain.

He had chatted with quite a few people, drank wine, danced, and even had many women like him, insisting on marrying him and giving him children.
He refused them all.
His heart had long been wholly given to one person, but that person had someone they liked.
Though his heart was forlorn, he never harbored hatred because his love was unreciprocated, or because his efforts went unrewarded. He was still himself, the Ye Ying who would unhesitatingly risk his life for the one he loved.
Yet, he felt somewhat sad inside.
His heart was constantly blocked, unresolved.
