The next day Akumi and I decided to skip classes and left the academy campus early at dawn. We'd changed again into normal clothes and robes, though this time I was carrying Requiem with me.
We soon reached the main gates that were built in the walls that protected Havenreach from the world outside. Once we were done showing our newly acquired badges, the guards opened the doors and we were let outside.
"Make sure to come back before sunset at any cost, the gates won't be opened after that," one of the guards instructed before closing the gates.
"So now where exactly do we go?" Akumi asked.
"Lorren mountains," I said, pointing my finger at a distance where some mountains were vaguely visible over the horizon. I knew the Sanctuary was located near those mountains and it was thanks to yesterday's briefing that I was able to figure out which those were.
"That's quite far," he mentioned.
