Kielbasa nodded, "Indeed. I planned to use the Saintess to keep them in control, but now that she has disappeared they would stray from the righteous path."
"Ugh, that King Girsal is so annoying. In return for their trained mages and magic enhanced weapons, we have to give him every Saintess from our church," Shiro's cheeks puffed in frustration.
"Well, you do know that eating the flesh and drinking the blood of a Saintess can extend one's life. But I wonder why mother chose that child Aurianna to be the Saintess. I met her and she's the complete opposite of all the former Saintesses," Kielbasa had a look of curiosity on his face.
