Victor held his daughter and took the phone from Polly, who lay down holding the phone, looking at the person inside.
"Why are you home so early today?" Usually, Victor came home around midnight. If it weren't for his beloved daughter, he'd probably live at the base.
"The foundation is almost done, waiting for you guys to come back." Victor replied, propping the phone on the table and testing the temperature of the milk bottle before feeding it to his daughter.
At the mention of the foundation, Polly sat up, "I wanted to ask you this morning, was there any water leakage or dampness when laying the foundation? We tested the size of one room, no issues, but did the whole base have this problem when solidifying the foundation?"
Victor, feeding his daughter, looked at the person anxiously asking on the phone, as if he hadn't just heard Grace say a word.
