Victor clicked his tongue but didn't leave. Instead, he watched Polly Sutton alter the design.
Polly was indeed too busy to pay him any mind, so she let him watch, figuring he'd leave once he'd had enough.
In the afternoon, Jonathan Jones came to call for people; the first batch of materials had been delivered, brought personally by Mr. Lucas.
Polly Sutton looked up at Victor Parker: "Aren't you going to take a look? He's personally come to deliver things to you."
Victor frowned. If it were someone else, he wouldn't want to go, but since Mr. Lucas had come in person, he couldn't refuse.
When Victor arrived, Edgar Lucas was chatting with Thomas Yates. Upon seeing him, Edgar pointed to the big box at the door, "Everything I could get was sent to you. If you're going to do something, do it well."
