Polly Sutton laughed and gently pushed Victor Parker away, lying on the bed and looking at him, "There's a question I have, and I think if I don't ask, President Parker might never remember it in this lifetime."
"What?" Victor absentmindedly asked while smoothing her hair.
"Does President Parker plan to fulfill the wedding he owes me in this lifetime?" Polly said sarcastically, noticing the man beside her suddenly stiffen.
Victor locked eyes with Polly, who was looking at him with a smile that wasn't quite a smile, waiting to see what explanation he might offer. A man who kept saying he wanted to explore the mysteries of marriage with her but still hadn't given her a wedding.
"President Parker, it's been almost two years, right? Every time I'm about to die, President Parker suddenly remembers he owes me a wedding. But when I'm alive, this matter seems to be completely forgotten, isn't it?"
