"It's a fact that Michael Knight has feelings for you." Emma Turner reminded, "But do you think Alice Wynn can accept this?"
Polly Sutton looked up at the sky, her legs splayed out without any regard for image.
"Actually, my thoughts are very simple. I hope everyone around me can find their own happiness, but why can't you all make it less worrisome for me?" Polly said, looking at Emma. "Senior, maybe I don't know Matthew Moore as well as you do, but he grew up with my dad and Victor's dad. His character can be vouched for. So, how about you consider it?"
"Like picking up trash?" Emma scoffed, "I'm very grateful he showed up to help me back then, and I'm sure I don't like Michael Knight. My feelings are more like a fan's admiration. Now, I just feel being alone is great. No need for romance, no need for family."
