The little Benny and little Tommy had just come in and saw their daddy striding away, completely ignoring them.
Little Tommy clenched his small fists in anger, "Bad daddy."
Jonathan Jones looked at the two little ones who had been overlooked. Not only did he not acknowledge his own issues, but he couldn't even see the kids.
"What brings you here?" Jonathan crouched down to look at the two neglected children and kindly patted their small heads. "Poor little ones."
"We are not pitiful," little Benny took a step back, not liking others touching his head, except for Mommy. "We have Mommy."
Jonathan paused, as if surprised by Benny's response, and burst out laughing. Having a Mommy meant they weren't pitiful, and daddy could be completely ignored. Well said.
"Come on, I'll take you to see the big airplanes." As for the conflicts between those two, whether they could be resolved today depended on President Parker's ability.
