The bearded man swallowed a mouthful of saliva, rubbed his beard, and his eyes turned misty: "If I really can, I'd definitely get her under control, make it so she can't find any satisfaction with anyone else."
The tall, skinny man flattered, "Yes, once she's under control, her organization would be yours, and you'd be the king of the underworld. Just don't forget about us brothers then."
Inside the warehouse.
Caroline glanced towards the door, and a few seconds later, the previously empty doorway was filled with several figures, led by the bearded man.
The lights were on in the warehouse, bright and clear. A lamp hung directly above Caroline, casting a warm yellow glow upon her, making her appear as if she was enveloped in a halo, like a goddess from Western mythology.
The bearded man's group had imagined Caroline's beauty many times, but upon meeting her in person, they realized their imagination was inadequate, not capturing even a tenth of her beauty.
