After Sarah Joseph slowly finished the cup of honey water, her mouth started to gradually taste a bit of sweetness.
She just hugged her knees and stared blankly out the window.
She didn't know how long had passed until the phone beside her rang; it was a system ringtone on her new phone, so unfamiliar that when Sarah Joseph slowly snapped back and looked at the phone, she was stunned for quite a while.
She slowly picked up the phone and saw it was a call from her father, instantly not knowing how to answer, knowing that as soon as she spoke, her dad would realize she wasn't okay.
She silently handed the phone to Charlotte Allison: "Help me answer this."
