The bar where Sarah Joseph works is a relatively high-end bar in Kingstown, usually attracting high-class clientele, and rarely has any incidents.
But if something does happen, it's never a small matter.
When they reached the entrance, Charlotte Allison told Ivy Price to wait in the car. However, Ivy took out a retractable stun baton for self-defense from the car and handed it to Charlotte, while she herself grabbed a bottle of pepper spray, saying, "Your leg isn't fully healed yet, I'll go with you. You know I practice boxing every week and can protect myself."
She knew Charlotte was worried about her getting hurt, but she was also worried about Charlotte.
"Okay." Holding onto the retractable stun baton, Charlotte walked in slowly, with Ivy right by her side.
"Mr. Allison! You're here for Miss Joseph, right? This way." Eason Chalmers' friend was waiting for Charlotte at the entrance.
As he led Charlotte inside, Eason's friend briefly explained the situation to her.
