"Ronan!"
Ronan had just stepped out of the Academy gates when a carriage rushed over and stopped right in front of him.
Alfred leapt down from the carriage and excitedly asked, "Where are you going?"
Ronan shrugged, "Going out to buy something."
The High Police Academy's management of its trainees was quite relaxed; daily classes didn't require roll call, and requests for leave were usually approved. A certificate would be awarded as long as credits were earned.
It wasn't just Ronan who often went outside during class periods.
Alfred chuckled, "Perfect! I've found a collector willing to part with a Master Bridges' piece!"
Ronan was surprised, "So soon?"
He had only mentioned it to Alfred a few days ago and hadn't expected such swift action from him.
"Just a coincidence,"
Alfred boasted, "Hurry up and get in; I'll take you to that collector's house."
Ronan got into the carriage with him.
