Upon hearing Director Li's words, Principal Qian gritted his teeth and then said:
"If he doesn't score 700, you'll receive my resignation letter!"
After saying this, Principal Qian took a deep breath, thinking to himself, 'Lin Yi, oh Lin Yi, whether I can keep my job all depends on you, kid!'
Sure enough, after hearing these words, Director Li smiled contentedly:
"Alright, I'll remember what you said. Rest assured, if Lin Yi truly scores over 700, Third Middle School will become a focus of our development in the next two years! On top of the experimental building you applied for, we will expand the area and at least build two additional teaching and office buildings!"
With Director Li's promise, Principal Qian was also relieved.
Watching Lin Yi about to walk out of the school gate on the monitor, Director Li picked up the phone on his desk and made a call:
"Lao Liu, Lin Yi is out, have someone clear the way."
