They arrived at their house and their mum was stunned to see Karyln all soiled and dirty."Why are you guys back this early,did you go around the neighborhood?" Mrs Rivers inquired.
"And besides,what's wrong with your clothes Karyln?"
"Was it not one stupid, brainless, idiotic driver that should have gotten his license revoked long ago that blindly and foolishly splashed mud on me"
"Hey girl,be mindful of your image and speak more like a proper lady"
"Mum,I can't be mindful of my image. I'm really infuriated. Mum, you know the worst thing I mean what's annoying the most.
"That stupid brainless idiot gave me a cheque to buy clothes."
"He did?"
"Yes mum,I immediately rejected it and gave him a nice scolding"
"You did a great thing by rejecting the money but was the scolding really necessary?"
"Mum, it was really necessary because if I did not scold him I would have been unable to sleep tonight.
I didn't scold him to my heart's content management before he arrogantly zoomed off."
"And you were watching your sister cause trouble in a new neighbourhood Daryln".
"Mum,the guy really deserved it. Can you imagine that he told Karyln not to come and blackmail him with any injuries".
"Exactly mum,I can tell at a glance that he's nothing but a nouveau riche squandering his family's inheritance away". Karyln added while rolling her eyes.
"That's enough,let's go prepare dinner" Mrs Rivers said.
Daryln rolls his sleeves up and immediately followed after his mum while Karyln groans on the chair she's sitting on.
"Are you not going to get your ass over here?"
"I want to go and change out of these clothes and put them in the washing machine"
"And I'm quite sure you are going to spend an eternity in there".
"Of course not, mum"she replies as she makes her way upstairs.

A sleek black Aston Martin slowly drives into the vast courtyard and a middle aged man comes out from the enormous house calling out respectfully"Young Master".
The car comes to a halt and the man comes closer to assist the one in the car to open the door. A long, straight leg clad in black trousers and shiny black shoes dropped out of the car showing a well structured handsome face devoid of all emotions.
The man called out once again"Young Master" while the young,emotionless face spoke slowly without any rush "Butler Qin, where's he?".
Butler Qin bowed his head and related to him "Master is in the study with the Old Master while Old Mistress is in the living room"
"Ok".He said and he proceeded to enter the ancient Chinese styled living room.
The young emotionless face entered into the living room and saw an old woman sitting on a sofa and sipping tea elegantly with a servant next to her.
He walked over to her, bowed respectfully and called out"Grandmother".
The old woman was overjoyed to hear his voice. She passed the tea cup to the maid beside her and reached out to her grandson"Liam, you are back".
She gestured to him to sit beside her and he was just about to do so when he heard voices floating over from upstairs.
His expressionless face that was beginning to relax becomes taut once again when he hears footsteps approaching from upstairs.
A man comes downstairs with an older man beside him. Liam stood up and called out respectfully "Grandfather,Father".
The older man saw him and spoke with a voice that does not show the signs of aging "Oh!,so you are here".
Just as he finished acknowledging Liam's greeting, a maid came to inform them that dinner was ready. Old Grandfather waved his hands for them to proceed to the dining room.
Liam goes to support him but he refused his help. "I don't need your help. Even though I am old, I'm still strong enough to walk myself without help".
"Yes,I know. As an old General, I'm pretty sure you can even run over 30 miles." His son replies him smiling good naturedly.
"Liam, your father and I have something to say to you after dinner".
At the dining table,the silence was eerie and only the clash of utensils against each other was heard.
Old Mrs Spencer tried to dissipate the silence by inquiring about her son that she has not seen for ages."Xavier,how's everything going on at your workplace?"
"Everything's fine,I'm planning on going to Africa for some important business deals"
"Ok, don't stay long though and make sure to always come and visit us"
"It's just a minor problem,It should be resolved within one or two weeks. Besides,I'm thinking of getting a house not far from here in order to spend more time with you all".
Hearing this,Liam gives a cold grunt and turns back to his food. His grandmother shoots him a look and replies her son"Why don't you just move in here? This place is more spacious and you would be able to see us everyday instead of spending money on another house".
"I would rather move out if you want him to move in so badly"Liam said.
After hearing this, Old Grandfather becomes annoyed and hits his hand on the dining table angrily and the whole table shook with his force.
"Why the noise, can't you see that we are at the dining table. And you Liam,I can quite recollect that I said that we would talk after dinner"
"Yes, Grandfather".
After Old Grandfather's rant, everywhere becomes quiet once again. They finished dining and the men went up to the study to discuss while Old Grandmother went to water her flowers.
Meanwhile at the study, they took a seat and Old Grandfather started "Liam,as your father said in the dining room earlier,he's going to leave his overseas business in the hands of Richard his Personal Assistant.
"Grandfather,this is none of my concern. I'm leaving". He bowed and exited the study room.
"You sure have a lot of work to do Xavier"
"I know, I'll try to win him back". He also bowed and rushes after Liam.
Liam goes into the living room and sees his grandmother passing the watering can to a maid.
"I'm leaving Grandmother".
His grandmother turns to look at him and inquires "So soon? Have you settled matters with your dad?"
"I have nothing to settle with him." He said and exits the living room.
As he exits the house and was about to enter his car,he hears a voice behind him.
"Liam,let's talk".
He halts his footsteps but he did not turn back.
Xavier comes closer to him and repeats "Son, let's talk".
Liam's body stiffened and he voiced out immediately "Don't call me son,I'm not your son! And besides,I have nothing to talk to you about until you return what you owe me"
"But Liam, your mother is gone already"
"Then,I have nothing to talk to you about!!".He screamed at him,enters his car and exited the mansion.
