That granted them a burning power that could melt even the strongest armor and counter stasis powers.
"That is an excellent counter to my Quietus Power," Cain thought.
The sharpness in his gaze deepened. This was no ordinary assassin. There was a high chance he had been picked precisely because he could counter Cain's Ancestor Power.
However, those thoughts were quickly pushed aside.
It did not matter who this man was. It did not matter who had sent him.
Not yet.
The only thing that mattered was defeating him.
