Gu Fei raised an eyebrow slightly. It was a good thing that Old Huang was livening up, but the girl was so young he could have easily been her father.
'Whatever, it's none of my business. A willing buyer, a willing seller,' she thought.
She smiled. "Since you're taking a concubine, aren't you going to throw a banquet or something?" 'He should at least celebrate his new life,' she mused.
Old Huang waved his hand dismissively. "A banquet? For what!"
"Oh, right, I have to ask something of you. From now on, when you're behind that counter, keep an eye out for me. You absolutely must not let her out this door."
The girl's head shot up to look at Old Huang, her eyes filled with terror.
